FUMIGATION
Drywood Termite Fumigation is used as a whole house treatment method that involves filling the airspace within a structure with VIKANE gas. Tarps are used to cover the structure to ensure the gas stays inside for the required time. The gas penetrates cracks, crevices, and pores in the wood to eliminate drywood termites and other pests. Fumigation is the only method that will kill 100% of drywood termites in a structure.
SPot TreaTMENT
When Fumigation is not an option or there’s just not enough activity to justify a fumigation, the next best thing is a local treatment or spot treatment. As the name implies this refers to the application of a pesticide to a small, specific area where termites are actively present. Chemical is injected directly into the wood making sure it gets right where it needs to be to eliminate the termite colonies.
